My acceptance to Parsons School of Design New York

My first post on my newly made blog dedicated to my time in New York!
I am a second year student studying Textile Design at the University of the arts London, Chelsea College of Art.
Applying for an exchange seemed like an absolute must – I practically jumped at the chance!
Having heard so much about The new school it seemed obvious that Parsons would be my first choice. Of course my first thoughts were ‘I will never get this’. My mum seemed even more excited than me, I think due to the excuse to visit!

I applied in February and had to wait two and a half months to hear back! By this time I had almost excepted they didn’t want me!
Hearing back in April was fantastic but god was it a roller coaster trying to sort everything out! From accommodation, flights, visa etc, it was an exhausting process to say the least. But 100% worth it.

And here I am three months later about to embark on a trip of a life time!
